(Late Post) Springtime at TRIUMPH

 

    This is your Captain speaking coming back with more from this Spring season. This has been a rough month for me. Moved to a new place, weeks of Packing and etc. Trying to adjust to these changes, so have to Tough them out and work as hard as I can. Any who, here's some photos shot at TCI Center (Formally COBO Hall) Triumph Church: North Campus had a Live Sermon their w. Special Guest, Mr. Kirk Franklin, known celebrity/Gospel Singer who came to Detroit to perform for Triumph. . . Hopefully we'll see more of him in future Triumph events or so. Plus, the 1st photo is of the Good Pastor Solomon Kinloch Jr. who is running for Mayor of Detroit, so looking forward to him running for Mayor, he has my vote. More coming soon. . .

Happy 313 Day/Happy Birthday Detroit

 

          This is your Captain speaking and I know it's late, but I want to make a shout out to Detroit and say.

 Happy Birthday/Happy 313 Day to the 'D. Still want to go out and take more photos of Detroit, so here are some stills from last year I did to represent, even though I don't live in Detroit, but I feel like it's a home away from home. Although it has it's negatives, but Detroit will prosper again. Minus the Crime-rate that is. I did Downtown and Mexicantown, but still want to do more of Eastern Market and Belle Isle next with Midtown, as well as it's events. It's a New Year/ More Stills

 

        This is your Captain speaking and Happy Belated New Year. Alot has happened last month going to this month of February, so I'm recovering from the event that occurred, any who. Here's some stills I did for the Product Stills under Food for Take-Out & Delivery and Jet's Pizza came to mind. The Wings, The Bread and the Detroit style Deep Dish were all shot by me. ISO was at 400, the White Balance was at Florescent and the Aperture & F-Stop: 1/40th sec & f.14. The Old Jingle still is in my head.

    This is your Captain speaking, he would like to wish everyone out there a Happy Thanksgiving.
Try not to eat too much Turkey or you'll be stuffed ! Just kidding, heh, heh, heh. . . If you don't have a turkey, get yourself a chicken, it'll taste just the same, it's dubbed Churckey (Chicken & Gravy). Hope you enjoyed the Macy's parade, the football game, Detroit won, hopefully we'll make it to the Superbowl and the Dog Show was excellent. Anywho, looking forward to Christmas. . . Black Friday is tomorrow, so be prepared to get you Christmas shop on. I'll be back with more post and Happy Turkey Day.

November to Remember

    Hey there, Bloggers and Happy Veteran's Day. Today is a day where we give a big shout-out to those Veteran's(My Father is a Veteran Himself.) who put their lives on the line to fight for this country. Hello Detroit(Experimental Edition)

      Back with more experimenals and now I'm listening to Sammy Davis Jr. singing hello Detroit and adding these 2 experimentals of Downtown Detroit, thanks to the Paint Daubs and Accented Strokes tools from the Artistic Section of CS5 Photoshop. Soon, it'll be the Rencen, Greektown, Belle Isle and etc. (Day and Night actually). More coming soon.

North American International Auto Show - Part #2

I'm back with another installment of stills from last month's North American International Auto-Show from the Lincoln Mercury booth and liking all these beautiful cars like the MKC, MKZ & etc made me want to snapshot even more, more coming soon.

2015 North American International Auto Show (Part #1)

I'm back with stills from the 2015 North American International Auto Show and it was a major hit, it been ages since i've been to it, but I'm doing it again. So many cars, engines and etc. For example, the Ford area was the first, the engines and then the Red Bull design from the Ford Fiesta St. Global Rallycross and the Ford pick-up truck that was also on display. Returning Night Stills

     Back with another post, my return to Detroit was Decent, took some Night Stills of Motor City Casino and Caesars Casino in Canada. I won't say there great, but should amount to something. More coming soon.

U-Detroit Cafe

      The U-Detroit Cafe, we did a shooting interview with Chico in the upper level of this cafe for PAHfest. We saw a little bit of a show from the musicians like these indiviuals. Although I can't remember their names, but they did an awesome show and performed with excellent. More stills of Detroit coming soon.

Comeback Detroit

     Happy Sunday, my friends. The Weather isn't too shabby, Back to school week is right around the corner as well as the season of Autumn.  And the City of Detroit is trying to make a comeback. Let's all hope and pray for the best. And, hey ! Shooting of Transformer 4 is already on schedule now. These stills of Downtown Detroit, including outside the Music Hall: Jazz Cafe are the examples. More stills of Detroit coming soon.

At the Riverwalk.

      Here some stills taken at the Detroit Riverwalk. Myself and Rogue Bard Media were getting ready to shoot a video, until riverwalk security caught us and spefically told us we weren't authorized to shoot videos unless we were to sign a permit. However we did our video outside the Cove on the Detroit International Riverfront. However that didn't stop me from getting a photo of certain news reporter named Curtis Smith of MyTV20 viewing the surroundings with the MyTV20 Video Camera. Anywho, more post coming soon, so enjoy.

Southwest Pride (Conclusion)

   Here it is, my friends. . . The last and final post of the South 2012 Southwest Detroit Pride Rall outside the Rosa Parks Federal Building/U.S Department of Homeland Security. 2 of the photos features one of the members I was talking to by the name of John Lopez, and their primary objective: To keep the streets of Southwest Detroit clean and safe for children and animals and provide them with a home and social support as well. I suggest non-residents help out on this as well. We want to make Detroit the future and I believe it is. We must help out as we can. Hope you enjoy this post.

Southwest Pride (Part #1)

 I'm back for another post, could've posted this earlier, but the boredom catches up to me. When myself and the Rogue Bard crew were out for a day of shooting, we happen to pass a group of people standing outside in the front of the Rosa Park Federal Building/U.S Department of Homeland Security protesting about a community being undocumented. There were those holding up signs saying - We are Michigan, we are undocumented ! There are youth group known as Southwest Pride, from Southwest Detroit, Michigan ! The goal is keep Southwest Detroit clean, garden more vegetables, fruit and etc. Keep the youth and animals off the streets and into safe, warm houses and finally give kids the special services they gladly need. I met up with a man by the name of John Lopez whom is a member of this group and many more of them as well. I'm hoping I get to meet with him and the rest of this group as well.
