Captain's Return from Hiatus.

This is your Captain speaking and I've returned from hiatus it wasn't a good one. Due to mental health, extreme heat, work issues, social media and etc. I was unable to be more productive, but now the weather is changing, and I can be back to my full potential and unfortunately lost track of time going out and enjoying the fun of Arts, Beats & Eats as well as the Detroit Jazz Festival, but there is always next year. We all know the old saying, we all can't be everywhere at once. Good thing is I've been focusing on Product Stills and my Canvas Art, that's all I've been doing; however, we have to do what we can in this life.

Anyhow, back with more Product Stills and this time from Fast-Food Chains such as Taco Bell and White Castle, more will be coming soon in the near future. I'll keep you posted, so until then. . . Stay Gold.

Product Stills - Liquitex Freestyle Paint Knives

Captain's Back and with a New Post, been doing some Product Stills to press up the time, here we have the Liquitex Freestyle Paint Knives that I use for my Canvas-Art and I shot with my trusty Nikon D3000 and Edited with Photopea which is Free instead of Adobe Photoshop. You can see the Glare that comes from them and don't mind the first Photograph with the one short Paint Knife on the right, I know it looks Scratched, Should've Photoshopped that one or did it without it, that's my Mistake/Burden to bear and I Apologize for that one. When it comes to the Shorter Paint Knives, I feel like a Ninja when i'm in Possession of them, want to do a Self-Model Still of me as a Ninja holding, but need to Rent some Space in order to make it happen. Hell, I should be called "Captain" Dave Walker, Canvas-Art Ninja or Mural-Art Ninja(Although I haven't done any Mural-Art Yet.) But, in any event this is my 2nd post of 2022, more coming soon. Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and Stay Gold. . . Late.

Captain's Back & with a New Name

The Captain has returned and with a New name and same purpose. . . To spread the word of Captain's Cove: Detroit. It's been a year since I posted anything here on the blog, but now I have returned to post on the blog. My New Year's Resolution for 2022 and Beyond is less planning and more doing when it comes to Canvas-Art, Photo-Art and soon Video-Art Content for YouTube, even though I won't be on Social Media too much and too often. Speaking of Social Media, there will be some changes for FaceBook, Twitter, Pintrest & Instagram. TikTok coming soon in the future as well as a Future Website, so it's going to take some time and work to Bare Fruit. These 2 Images represent me as a Canvas & Photo Artist spreading the word and getting my name out to Detroit as well as the areas that surround it in a Positive matter. Your thinking, why come up with the name "Captain's Cove" ?  The idea came when I 1st visited Kummba's Cove Art Gallery when I was with the Rogue Bard Media LLC Crew back in 2011, when I did Poetry for Nommo, did content there at times, the Cove was my home away from home and I was fascinated by the people I met whom were and still like a 2nd family to me and the Art that was in place. . . Unfortunately the Cove was shutdown in 2013 or 2014. Kummba's Cove will always be a special place in my heart and so I decided to name my new Media Gallery & Production "Captain's Cove: Detroit". Even though I'll be doing Content of my own, working with Rogue Bard more as well hopefully working with CyberStars: Detroit and if you don't know what CyberStars is, it's a Media Production with Skits and Shorts, it is created by my friend and FedEX Work-Brother, David Ragin who is also a musician . Do not forget to follow him on Social Media. These harsh times with this Nightmarish and Deadly Pandemic curse known as COVID-19 and the restrictions has gotten the best of us with people getting sick and testing positve and dying from this cursed evil, but we can't let it take control of our lives physically and mentally, we still have to Mask-Up and stay true to the 4 to 6ft rule. So, let's Stay Safe, Stay Healthly and Stay Gold.
