Murals from the Grand River Creative Corridor

One week ago, was out in Hamtramck and Detroit and saw this awesome Murals in the area, and I thought the Detroit Mural Factory must've had something to do with this, but it was also the work another group of Muralist known as the Grand River Creative Corridor. And made me want to do an interview with the Muralists, ask them some questions, but that's a story for another time nonetheless. I think about becoming a Muralist when I see these Artworks, more post coming soon, so enjoy.

It was just a Hiatus.

Hello, Bloggers. . . The Captain is Back and is wish you all a Happy Easter. Sorry to keep you waiting, but i'd decided to give up posting for lent - giving something up of equal value. Although this month is about to reach it's climax, I have some news. Myself and Rogue Bard Media are putting together a documentary on one important question, does Jesus love the LGBT(Lesbians, Gays, Bi-Sexuals and Transgenders) ? We are running a Kickstarter Campaign in order to get this movie started, so we need your generous donations in order to get this started. If you do that, then we'll be so happy to get the working. Some Behind the Scenes stills will also be part of this, as well as some funny videos as well. Also, more stills from Detroit Essence will be coming soon as well as more projects from the Rogue Bard Crew. Plus, i'll be coming up with my own Painting Show coming in end of summer/beginning of Autumn. Usually, you would the Best of the Joy of Painting and watch Bob Ross perform his talents with Oil Paint and his artworks look real and fascinating. But I'll be using Acrylic Paint, we'll see how this plays out for me. More post coming soon, so enjoy. Leave me some question and i'll get back to you with some answers.

Hello, Bloggers and I hope you had a Happy New Year, This is my 1st post of the year, 2013 and here are some Paintings that I've done so far. 1st off is the Sunrise on the beach, whenever you head out to the Beach and if you want to take a photograph and yet you wish to paint an exact duplicate, this one I would recommend, Next we have a painting of a storm that is about to approach, meaning the sky is gray and waves in the water are growing stronger. I would be looking forward shooting a stills of it with a model of course. More of my Artworks will be coming soon, more question, give me an email and respond back to you, so enjoy.

Samurai Shodown III Scitron Video - Hanzo + Hanzo Painting

Back with another Painting, of Hanzo Hattori of the 3rd installment Samurai Showdown series. Although Hanzo is a historical and real-life figure from the Fedual times of Japan. The winning post from him came into my mind, so I decided to create it in my style of Painting. Although I could've added a giant Star Shuriken on it, but chose not too. However if my mind changes, i'll think about painting it on. The last one I did from Samurai Warriors, needed more work in my opinion. Well, i'll be back soon, so enjoy and Happy Hauntings on Halloween.

Bob Ross: Quiet Pond

Today marks the 70th Birthday of Legendary Painter: Bob Ross, whom created the Best of the Joy of Painting that lasted throughout a decade. From 1983 to 1994, the Best of the Joy of Painting brodcasted on serveral public brodcasting stations worldwide, until it found it's home on Detroit Public Television (PBS). Ross uses Wet-like Oil Paint to create what comes to mind, like Landscapes & Wildlife. When I first saw the show, i was moved and estatic on how he painted, I was amazed like ~ "WOW, wish I could paint like he did. So, Bob Ross, although you maybe painting at a higher place, you won't be forgotten, so Happy Birthday and God Bless.

Street-Life Stills

The Captain has returned and with a blast from the past blog, cause I had to delete it because of address issues, Street-Life Stils from outside Kuumba's Cove on 227 Iron Street east of Jefferson Road in Downtown Detroit. 1st one that says Who is Detroit ? I've been wondering that question and I know all of you wonder as well. Detroit is a city that has had it's up's and down's, twist and turns for over decades, but now we are becoming one with the city , we want to help make Detroit the future (like voice actor Sonny Strait said at Youmacon last year) We Are Detroit !!! And it's seems Motor City is becoming more popular in the city than both Greektown and MGM, although I wanted to go all 3 casinos, but MGM closed down or is it still open ? I don't know. Anywho, More Street-Life Stills coming up, so enjoy.

Suggestions & Promises

Ever since I've been taking pictures, for a couple of months i've been hearing some suggestions about creating a photobook or a calendar. Well, my friends, i'm going to make those dreams come true. However, some of my photos will be set up in a future gallery that will be explained in for a few years or longer, along with my paintings as well. Also, Poetry at Kuumba's Cove is back & next month on Friday December the 16th, the cove will have some of the best poets from the city of Detroit, i'm hoping i'll be there so I can spit out my Peace on the Mic.
It's been forever since I been on that stage. Hopefully, Diallo Smith or Daune Smith will host this event
The location is 227 Iron Street East of Jefferson in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. Anywho, i'm looking forward to showing each and every one of you my best stuff. More will be coming soon, you know what to do if have any questions, comments and concerns.
